We provide person-centred care and a friendly home from home environment for our service users. Our company provides free robust training & induction, free parking & paid breaks alongside various learning opportunities including support obtaining QCF Level 2, 3 & 5 Health and Social Care.
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while developing valuable skills within the healthcare sector. Applicants should be organised, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively assist clients and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Duties
- Assist with daily personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and movement, ensuring safety at all times
- Help in the preparation and serving of meals according to individual care plans
- Monitor and record clients’ health status and report any concerns to senior staff
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalised care plans are followed
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments as required
Skills
You will be trained to be in charge of shift after 6 months. Training is provided free of charge and includes a robust induction programme. Health and social care qualifications are desirable however not essential.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions
- Driving licence preferred for assisting with transportation needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues
Working Pattern
26 hours per week Mon-Sun
Typically will be made up of 2 x 13 hour day shifts
Renumeration
£12.71 per hour
